Dr. Ron Hucke
Education
Graduated Cum Laude from Texas Wesleyan College in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Chemistry. He received the Doctor of Dental Medicine, Magna Cum Laude,
from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in December of 1979.
He has extensive private practice and academic teaching experience including being
the Director of the Jacksonville Branch of the University of Florida College of
Dentistry. Dr. Hucke has received many honors and awards, including Who's Who among
American Colleges and Universities. He has presented many programs at the state
and national level and is a member of many national and international dental organizations
including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the
Academy of Operative Dentistry. Dr. Hucke has been very active in community activities
and local dental society programs. He has three daughters, and enjoys flying and
sailing.

Dr. Michelle DeFelice
Education
Received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from St. Lawrence University
in 1986 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University at Buffalo
School of Dental Medicine in 1990.
In Upstate New York she was in a partnership with her father Dr. Ralph DeFelice
for 13 years. She was Treasurer of her local Dental Society and on the Health Advisory
Board for Head Start. Although there are only minimal state requirements, Michelle
has completed several hundred hours of Continuing Education at the prestigious Pankey
Institute and at many other dental conventions nationwide. She is a member of the
American Dental Association as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. After marrying
Dr. Ron Hucke in November 2002, she relocated and joined St. John's Family Dentistry.
The climate in Florida gives her more time outdoors for golfing, boating and spending
time on the beach with her black Lab, Jake. Ron and Michelle have 2 beautiful twin
baby girls together.

Dr. James G. Barsamian
Education
Received his bachelor degree from Indiana University in 1976 and his Doctorate of
Dental Medicine from Marquette University on 1980. He completed his Residency in
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1984 from the University of Florida .
He is Board Certified as a Diplomat of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgeons and a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He
is a Certified Instructor in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. He is a member of the
American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, American Dental Association, American
Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgeons, Florida Dental Association, Northeast District Dental Society, and the
Jacksonville Dental Society. He is Director/Founder of the Beaches Dental Study
Club. Jim has practiced in the Jacksonville area for 23 years as an Oral Surgeon
and we are very fortunate to have him in our practice helping our patients with
their Oral Surgery needs. He is married with two great children and is a low handicap
golfer. Dr. Barsamian and Dr. Hucke have worked together for over twenty years and
are proud to bring the very best patient care to St. Augustine.

Dr. Kelly Carrothers
Education
Dr. Carrothers graduated cum laude from the University of Toledo in 1992 with a
Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the
University of Michigan in 1997.
Dr. Carrothers moved to Northeast Florida following dental school to complete her
first of two residencies. She completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry
residency in 1998 and the General Practice Residency in 1999. Both residencies were
at the University of Florida at Shands Jacksonville. Dr. Carrohters practiced in
Fleming Island, Florida for two years prior to relocating to St. Augustine in 2001.
Her spare time is enjoyed with husband,Rich and being “Mom” to daughter Devin and
son Dillon. She is also actively involved in the Junior Service League of St. Augustine.

Rhonda Fazio Woodyard, RDH
Rhonda is a St Augustine native who graduated from St Augustine High School in 1983.
Her father owned and opperated Fazio's Seafood for many years and her mothers family
was the original owners of Saltwater Cowboys. She became a dental assitant shortly
after high school and worked for 3 years as a dental assistant. She then attended
Florida Community College in Jacksonville to study Dental Hygiene. She graduated
from college in May of 1988 and began practicing dental hygiene at this office in
August of 1988. This past August she celebrated her 20th year in our office!!
During her time off she enjoys spending time with her twin boys Patrick and Nicholas
who will soon be 18. They have grown up in this practice with many patients enjoying
seeing their pictures in moms office as they grew up. She also enjoys reading and
spending time at the beach when she has a rare moment of free time.

Diane Rubino, RDH
Diane Rubino has been a member of the state’s dental industry since 1973. Diane,
who studied dental hygiene at Miami-Dade County’s Medical Campus, graduated #1 in
her class with a perfect 4.0 GPA. She was awarded the college’s Most Outstanding
Student award and also was chosen as the Most Outstanding Hygiene Graduate by the
East Coast Dental Society. After turning down an offer to teach at her alma mater,
Diane started a hygiene career that has now lasted 23 years. Prior to becoming a
hygienist, Diane was the front office manager of a large South Florida dental practice,
and was also the primary instructor for DATA, Inc., a dental assistant training
school.
Diane has been married for 33 years to her husband Joe, a federal transit consultant.
Her older daughter Natalie lives in Deerfield Beach and is the Creative Manager
for Hello Florida!, one of the nation’s premier destination management firms. Her
younger daughter Malorie is the Administrative Assistant to the owner of the San
Sebastian Winery in St. Augustine. Diane enjoys reading, taking her dogs to the
beach, and attending country music concerts with her friends and co-workers. Her
favorite moments, though, are the times she spends with her infant grandson, Aiden
Joseph.
